Welcome back to another edition of i80 Sports Toll booth- the best place on the web for Major League Soccer Sportsbook Picks!

Last week was an excellent week, hitting 3 of 5 bets and landing a solid 3.15u in the green. Let's look to build on that this week with some awesome sportsbook picks. See last week's results below, and continue reading for some awesome weekly Major League Soccer Bets.

Now let's get into the action!
Match- NYCFC hosts Philadelphia Union
Pick- Philly +240
This weekend, at Citi Field, NYCFC will host the Philadelphia Union. This marks a “home return” for New York City who have played 5 straight away matches- going 0-1-4 and only picking up a single point in that span.
NYCFC is still spectacular at home, but have been shaky recently against the Union. I also barely call a match at a DIFFERENT baseball team’s stadium a “home” match, and doubt NYCFC will have their usual Yankee Stadium spark.
Key to the Match-
For me, NYCFC and Philly, in a neutral location, favors Philly. In Citi Field, it is probably a push. Here, at +240, Philly seems like an odds bargain.
NYCFC has lived and died by offensive production this season, and right now that offense is inept. The Union are coming off of two straight clean sheets, and I could see a third coming this weekend.
It would be a record 3 game away win streak for Philadelphia.
Match- New England Revolution host Chicago Fire
Pick- Revs -107
The New England Revolution have had a recent downswing in form- losing 3 straight, including a USOC match against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and away losses to Miami and Philadelphia. This week, they return home to host the 3-6-4 Chicago Fire.
New England needs a win here, and they have the 6th best home advantage in MLS. They have 2.33 points per game at home and are 4-2-0 at Gillette this season. The injuries the Revolution have sustained this season is already baked into the -107 price tag; it could easily be -180 or worse.
Key to the Match-
According to MLSsoccer.com, New England is unbeaten in 8 straight matches against Chicago. While many of those have been draws in the past, Chicago is now allowing 21 goals through 13 games.
I don’t see any scenario where the Revolution’s attackers, Bobby Wood or some else, don't find the net multiple times. Against Chicago that is all it should take to get the win.
Match- LA Galaxy host Charlotte FC
Pick- Charlotte +0.5 +100
What has the Galaxy done this season to be such a heavy home favorite?
As a side, I’m also splashing Charlotte straight up for +320. These odds are bogus for two teams with such little history.
Key to the Match-
Charlotte is missing key players like Shinyashiki, Nuno Santos, and possibly Copetti, but they still have plenty of firepower. Charlotte has scored 19 times compared to Galaxy scoring just 10 (yes, I had to look that up to be sure).
Neither team inspires confidence, so a +0.5 handicap bet on a win OR draw for Charlotte has to turn some heads. This is an odds game, after all.
Match- Colorado Rapids host FC Cincinnati
Pick- FC Cincy +175
This is another case of a home team getting more respect than they’re worth by the MLS Sportsbooks. Cincy is a top Eastern Conference team headed to Colorado, where the home team, historically, has had a huge advantage. At altitude or not, however, this Colorado team has struggled all season. They have just .5 points per game at home, and are 0-2-3 in their last 5 home games.
Why then, is FC Cincinnati at +175 for this match? I don’t have an answer.
Key to the Match-
FC Cincinnati will be near full strength with an excellent squad. Their coach Pat Noonan has certainly gotten the best from his squad, and I expect that to continue.
Colorado has struggled and that will continue this week. They have a list of inactives including Nicholson and Bryan Acosta sitting with yellow card accumulation suspensions, Max who was suspended for gambling, injuries to Yapi, Price, Keita, and knocks to Cole Bassett and Diego Rubio. This isn’t good for Colorado, who is the worse team here even at full strength.
Match- Orlando City hosts Atlanta United
Pick- Over 2.5 Goals -120
This week’s bonus pick sees Orlando facing off against Atlanta United. This is a simple math game.
Atlanta United has seen a total of 52 goals in their 14 matches, while Orlando has seen 32 in 13. That is 3.11 goals per match that these teams have seen, well over the 2.5 goals needed to cash this bet.
Key to the Match-
Orlando has seen the 2.5 over hit in 2 of their last 3 matches. Atlanta has seen the over hit in each of their last 8, and 12 of their 15 matchups in 2023. Slam this bet.
