Major League Soccer- i80 Sports Toll Booth Picks
This was a great week in Major League Soccer betting history- BLOWING past our 40 unit goal for the season and getting up to 44.58 units on the season. We look to expand this streak with four great picks coming up this weekend.

Match- Seattle Sounders host Sporting Kansas City
Pick- Sporting KC +260
At the end of the season it is common that not much is settled- but this match at Lumen Field posts two teams we know will be in the playoffs and are still fighting for home field advantage.
They swapped away wins this season with SKC winning 3-1 in Seattle earlier this season and Seattle beating SKC at hope just four games ago. Here, I have Sporting KC because of their hunger for a win- being tied with Colorado Rapids for second place.
Key to the Match-
I expect Raul Ruidiaz to miss this match- he should be in no race to get back to form. After a small slide (no wins in their last two games) I believe Seattle will wait to get him fully fit for the playoffs and start Will Bruin or Fredy Montero up top here.
Sporting KC on the other hand is going to start their best 11 and look to dominate this game down the wings with Johnny Russell and Daniel Salloi. This is where I think they can find the best mismatch- attacking against the 3 man Seattle backline.
Match- Philadelphia Union host Nashville SC
Pick- Union +100
The Philadelphia Union was just two points behind Nashville for 3rd in the east last weekend- their subsequent loss to Minnesota and Nashville’s draw now has them at 3 points apart. Philadelphia will look to close the gap this weekend.
Nashville has drawn their last 5 matches and hasn’t looked attention worthy since their 5-1 win over Miami in September (which, with Miami’s 0-4 loss to RBNY started their current season-ending skid).
Key to the Match-
Hany Mukhtar is suspended for yellow card accumulation this weekend. That leaves Randall Leal as the best player on the field and CJ Sapong as their main goal-scoring option.
Philadelphia has a few things going for them- a comparable defense that Nashville won’t be able to break down, the home crowd at their backs, and Kacper Przybylko- a big physical center forward that won’t bow away from Walker Zimmerman.
Match- Chicago Fire host Real Salt Lake
Pick- Chicago Fire -120
This is going to be a great game against two opponents fighting to avoid missing extra games this November. While Chicago is playing mostly for pride and a prayer, Real Salt Lake is only 1 point out of playoff contention.
Chicago have had an up and down year but have to be feeling good with a new logo, a draw AT New England, and a 4-3 win against Cincinnati all this month. They also looked frisky- beating NYCFC and tying Nashville just a month ago.
Real Salt Lake are in the same boat- getting blown out by Timbers before losing to Austin and beating Colorado Rapids 3-1 midweek. I assume their current form is more the former- I can’t get behind Rubio Rubin carrying a team an entire season with little help from his supporting cast.
Key to the Match-
If you didn’t, make sure to catch out i80 Sports MLS episode which aired LIVE this Thursday on YouTube (youtube.com/i80sports). We talked about Robert Beric- the RED HOT attacker we have been waiting for all season.
Beric is in the 80th percentile with .49 non-penalty expected goals per game and had 4 goals in his last 4 games. He should match up well against the RSL three-man backline of Holt, Datkovic, and Glad. I think he only needs to find the net once for Chicago to earn a home win.
Match- Orlando City host New England Revolution
Pick- NE Revolution +155
This week, 4th place Orlando City face-off against the New England Revolution- a team who are going for the all-time points lead. Sitting at a solid 69 points with four games left, I expect they will beat the record this week against Orlando City.
Both teams are in good form, but with an aging Nani trailing off at the end of the season and Daryl Dike looking more average than extraordinary, I have to take New England and all their firepower in this one.
Key to the Match-
Bruce Arena does not like to take his foot off the pedal- these last few games will be used to work on the finely tuned Revolution machine. With a trio like Buksa, Bou, and Gil they will prove unstoppable against an Orlando side that has conceded 42 goals in 30 matches this season.
